'He forgave me'; Saif Ali Khan Reveals Apologising to Son Taimur For His Role in Adipurush

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan revealed in a podcast with Jaideep Ahlawat that he apologised to his son Taimur Ali Khan, after showing him his film Adipurush.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been in the industry for almost three decades, and have played many versatile roles. Along the way, he has had many super hit films, but also some that did not do well. One of those films was Adipurush, that was a commercial and critical failure.

Adipurush was criticised for its wrongful adaptation of the epic, Ramayana, the dialogues, the costumes, VFX and even the acting. The film was received poorly by all, audience and critics. Saif was brutally trolled for his look and portrayal of Raavan in the film, with many claiming that the film was one of his worst performances till date.

Recently, in a podcast, his Jewel Thief co-star Jaideep Ahlawat, asked Saif what is his son, Taimur’s reaction of seeing his father on screen, to which Saif replied, “No, because I have done different characters. Sometimes it's been a bad guy. So, then they ask me, ‘Are you a good guy or a bad guy?’ Maine abhi Adipurush dikhaayi (laughs). Woh kuchh der ke baad mujhe aise dekhne lage. So I said ‘Yeah, sorry’. He said ‘it's okay’. He forgave me.” 

Saif Ali Khan’s most recent project is ‘The Jewel Thief’, starring alongside Nikita Dutta and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is currently streaming on Netflix, and is a heist action thriller has been directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal.
