Amid the promotional buzz for Netflix’s upcoming heist action thriller Jewel Thief, the film’s cast — Saif Ali Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kunal Kapoor, and Nikita Dutta — came together to share insights about their experience working on the project. While Saif is set to portray a suave and stylish thief, it was Kunal Kapoor’s wit and humour during the conversation that truly stole the spotlight, bringing an extra spark to the interaction and leaving a lasting impression.

In a conversation with Filmygyan, while Nikita Dutta and Jaideep Ahlawat spoke fondly about the fun they had on set, Kunal Kapoor took a more humorous yet candid route, admitting he felt lonely during the shoot. “Loneliness because I am not with them in the film, I am chasing them so I was alone on the set. These people would enjoy together,” he explained.

Adding to the light-hearted moment, Nikita revealed that she, Saif, and Jaideep often shared scenes and spent time together, unlike Kunal, who usually filmed separately. Jokingly, Kunal added, “I used to clean up, pick cups and all on set.

Jewel Thief marks Saif Ali Khan’s comeback to the screen following a traumatic knife attack earlier this year. The action-packed heist thriller is co-produced by Siddharth Anand and helmed by directors Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal. Saif, in a previous interaction, expressed his excitement about collaborating once again with Siddharth Anand, who had earlier directed him in Salaam Namaste. He highlighted Anand’s unique ability to seamlessly combine action, style, and storytelling, and shared how the team had pushed creative boundaries while having a great time on set.
