Alia Bhatt & Sharvari Wagh's Entry in the YRF Spy Universe: Know More

Alia Bhatt is all set to make her entry in the YRF Spy Universe with her film 'Alpha', starring alongside Sharvari Wagh. The two Bollywood actresses took to instagram to announce the title of their film.

Alia Bhatt is all set to make her entry in the YRF Spy Universe with her film 'Alpha', starring alongside Sharvari Wagh. The two Bollywood actresses took to instagram to announce the title of their film. This action thriller is the first female led film in the spy universe and will see the actresses playing the role of super agents.

Alia and Sharvari shared a small teaser for the title announcement will a voiceover by Alia saying, "Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar, aur hamari program ka motto. Sabse pehle, sabse tez. Sabse veer. Dhyan se dekho toh har sahar mein ek jungle hein. Aur jungle mein humesha raaj karega… Alpha."

The film will star Bobby Deol as the antagonist and reportedly also have Anil Kapoor in the cast. The team will complete the shooting in Mumbai and then head to Kashmir for some action sequences and go to an international location in December.

The YRF Spy Universe began with the 2012 film 'Ek Tha Tiger' starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, and it's sequel 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. The Universe continued with Hritik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's 'War'. The hype around the franchise started building around when 'Pathaan' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone released in 2023 and finally, the same year saw 'Tiger 3' as well. The upcoming films in this franchise are War 2 and Alpha.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Hollywood film 'Heart of Stone', starring alonside Gal Gadot, while Sharvari Wagh has been making a name for herself through her acting skills in films like 'Munjya' and 'Maharaj'.
