Welcome

‘Welcome to The Jungle’, starring Akshay Kumar was set to release in the December of 2024, but recently the makers announced that it has been delayed and will release in 2025. This film will be the third one in the Welcome Franchise. The delay in the release date also means that 'Welcome to the Jungle' will not clash with Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ which is set to release during Christmas of 2024

The team of the film recently wrapped the first schedule of the film in Aarey, Maharashtra in May. This was one of the many lengthy shoots of the entire cast and the VFX work is yet to start post the principal photography. Due to these reasons the film release has been postponed from December 2024 to 2025.

A close source said, "Welcome... has been mounted on a grand scale, with the first schedule wrapping up recently in May. It was a lengthy shoot in Aarey, Maharashtra, with the entire star cast present. However, this was just the first of several schedules planned. Additionally, significant VFX work will be required after principal photography concludes. Given these factors, a December 20 release seems unlikely.”

The film has a star studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, and more.
