‘Major’ the film is a project that is extremely close to actor Adivi Sesh - as he played Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan on screen - and he proves this time and again when he visits the city every year with Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents to attend the memorial with them.

“It's the kind of film that you start measuring your filmography before this and after this. The reason it became so important is because I don't think I have ever done a film that is so honest. It's not about the film, it's about the approach. The way uncle and amma (Major Sandeep's parents) accepted us and let us into their lives and for is not corporatise was very important. So, I think it essentially made me a better person.'' Sesh said.

Sesh was captured amidst some beautiful moments spent with Major Sandeep’s family and at the memorial which looked like they had genuinely accepted Sesh as a part of their family. Having played Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan on celluloid, actor Adivi Sesh seems to have formed a very beautiful, intimate and wholesome bond with his parents in real life.
