Bollywood and South Indian Cinema actors Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth got married on 16 September in an intimate wedding ceremony, in the presence of close friends and family. The wedding took place at the 400-year-old Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple, located at Srirangapur in Wanaparthy District. It was built during the 18th century and holds significance for Aditi’s family. The couple took to Instagram to share their wedding pictures.
Aditi Rao Hydari wore a handwoven Maheshwari tissue lehenga with a Benarasi tissue dupatta from Sabyasachi's Heritage Textile Collection. The golden blouse matched the shimmering attire and was paired with stunning gold and ruby jewellery for a regal look. The gorgeous white mogra gajra enhanced her ensemble. She also had simple yet beautiful mehendi design featuring a half-crescent moon on the backs of her hands. Aditi’s ensemble gave a beautiful tribute to their South Indian traditions.
Siddharth matched Aditi's simple elegance by wearing a classic white silk kurta with delicate, yet sophisticated embroidery, pairing it with a traditional dhoti and veshti. Siddharth’s outfit was also from Sabyasachi. His style represented simplicity while maintaining a sense of his heritage.
Siddharth and Aditi both opted for simple, sophisticated and traditional outfits for the ceremony. They both honoured their heritage by wearing the Sabyasachi ensembles.
