Mumbai Hotel Prices Surge to Rs 91,350 per Night for Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding

In anticipation of the upcoming pre-wedding festivities for Mukesh Ambani's youngest son, Anant Ambani, and his fiancée, Radhika Merchant, hotel prices in Mumbai's upscale Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) have skyrocketed. For instance, a hotel that typically charges Rs 13,000 per night is now asking Rs 91,350 on July 14th, as per reports.

The report also mentioned that the primary hotels in BKC are completely reserved based on travel and hotel websites. Room rates at the Trident BKC are priced at Rs 10,250 per night plus taxes as of July 9. The rates increase to Rs 16,750 plus taxes by July 15, and then to Rs 13,750 plus taxes by July 16, as listed on travel booking websites. The hotel is fully booked from July 10 to 14, as indicated by the "sold out" status on their website.

Sofitel BKC's room rates start at Rs 13,000 plus taxes on July 9, then rise to Rs 30,150 on July 12, Rs 40,590 on July 13, and peak at Rs 91,350 on July 14. Rates decrease to Rs 16,560 on July 15 and Rs 13,680 on July 16. The hotel's website shows no availability for July 10 and 11.

Anant Ambani will marry Radhika Merchant on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC. The details of guest accommodations are still pending confirmation, but hotel prices in BKC and nearby areas have risen sharply. The prestigious event has already included two extravagant pre-wedding celebrations.
