Notably, the RRR song "Naatu Naatu" became a global music anthem after making history at the Oscars. Together with celebrities, cricket players, and diplomats, actors Jr. NTR and Ram Charan have inspired more than just fans.

The first Telugu song to be nominated and win in the Oscars' Original Song category was Naatu Naatu. Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Lady Gaga's "Hold My Hand" from Top Gun: Maverick, 'This Is A Life' from Everything Everywhere All At Once, and 'Applause' from Tell It Like a Woman were among the song's fierce contenders.

The stirring song was presented by Deepika Padukone and sung by vocalists Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava during the Academy Awards in Los Angeles last week. The team was represented by composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose in accepting the honour. Naatu Naatu earlier this year also took up the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
