The Bigg Boss season 16 champion rapper MC Stan was forced to leave the stage in the middle of the show.
Rapper MC Stan was performing at an Indore hotel when Karni Sena members caused a disturbance and forced him to end the performance on the grounds that his songs contain profanity.
Following the event on Friday night, the city police on Saturday opened an investigation into some of the organization's members, but as of this writing, no one has been taken into custody, according to an official.
Sub-inspector R S Dandotia said that a First Information Report (FIR) was filed at the Lasudia police station in the city in accordance with sections 451 (trespassing in premises to commit offence), 294 (abuse), and 506 (intimidation) and other pertinent provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
Local Karni Sena leaders Digvijay Singh and Raja Singh were listed as defendants in the Complaint, and more suspects were being recognised from video of the event, he added.
The inspector said that Karni Sena militants broke some flowerpots when they entered the Stan's concert, which was held at a hotel in the Lasudia region, and verbally assaulted and intimidated spectators.
He claimed that the rapper, who won season 16 of the reality TV series Bigg Boss, had to leave the stage midway through the performance.
The official said that when police arrived at the scene, they used "moderate force" to scatter the demonstrators.
Anurag Pratap Singh Raghav, the district unit president of the Karni Sena, stated on Saturday that MC Stan's use of profanity in his songs was "promoting obscenity among young people," and that is why the group's members had to remove him from the location.
Social media also saw the appearance of certain videos of the incident.
