Airports all around the nation have been modernizing their terminals and constructing new international terminals. Similar plans call for a new terminal building at Pune International Airport. The Airports Authority of India started building this new terminal in 2018. They failed to meet the AAI's deadlines in January 2021, August 2022, December 2022, January 2023, and May 2023. But eventually, with almost 75% of the work finished, the Pune airport will begin a month-long trial run on July 1.
