BTS Jungkook Admits How He Misunderstood The Invite To Perform At FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

BTS's Jungkook had the wonderful opportunity of singing his World Cup song "" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dreamers," which was created by the well-known Moroccan singer, songwriter, and producer RedOne, at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 opening ceremony.

On November 20, 2022, Jungkook and Qatari musician Fahad Al Kubaisi performed on stage at the World Cup.

Morgan Freeman, a renowned American actor, provided a memorable narration that was followed by the performance.

As the first Korean performer to appear at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, Jungkook made history and made the ARMYs and locals proud of his and BTS's achievements and influence around the world.

Three months later, BIGHIT MUSIC made available behind-the-scenes images and videos of Jungkook's World Cup preparations.

BTS's Jungkook discusses his initial confusion about performing at the opening ceremony in the behind-the-scenes film. He also discusses how he learned he had been selected to join the FIFA World Cup soundtrack.

He took a seat for a candid chat in between takes and revealed that his firm had texted him to let him know that he would be singing the World Cup's opening song.
Surprisingly, he admitted that he had originally believed he would perform alongside the other BTS members. He didn't know it was a solo project until afterward, when he "came out in cold sweat."
When he realised it was just him, he comically thought he would only be recording the song and not singing it live.
The group's maknae performed flawlessly and gratefully accepted the honour of joining the list of outstanding musicians who have contributed songs for the World Cup.

His team members showered their maknae with support even though they couldn't be there in person to cheer him on.
