Directed by Advait Chandan, who earlier made Secret Superstar and was Aamir Khan and Zarina Wasim’s next film after the brilliant Dangal. Naturally, the audience had lot of expectations from the dynamic duo. True to its expectation, Secret Superstar faced the storm called Golmaal Again (released on 20th October during the same time) and managed to become super- hit at the box office, collecting 63.40 crore against a budget of Rs 45 crore.

Now, the director is back with the official remake of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is also the first film of Aamir Khan after a gap of 4 years. Starring Kareena Kapoor in key role, Laal Singh Chaddha has received good reviews from audience as per BookMyShow.com

Unfortunately, the film has opened on a low note in the range of 15-17% in the morning shows which is shocking considering the star power of Aamir Khan. It has to been seen if the film picks up towards the evening and night shows.

The other release of the week is the much awaited Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai collaboration, Raksha Bandhan. For our viewers, Aanand L Rai is the man behind Tanu Weds Manu franchise and Ranjhanaa while his last film, Atrangi Re, starred Akshay Kumar in a special role.

The reviews have been decent till as per BookMyShow and the opening has been low with just 15% occupancy which is not a good sign.
