Recently, the Rocket Boys actress Talked about how she researched her character while preparing for the role. Saba said “ Language and diction was a big one for this part. I heard Homi Bhabha's Geneva conference speech for guidance,

Pipsy was a close confidant and from a very similar background as Bhabha so I took cues for diction from there - Abhay wanted to avoid clipped English at the cost of sounding dated so I relied on clarity of word more than the old British accent that educated Indians of that generation were used to speaking - Pipsy was a world traveller, educated, independent woman so a lot of points of reference for her look came from old Hollywood - Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, Katherine Hepburn, Natalie Wood to name a few, Abhay and I had a Pinterest board we kept adding look referenced into that helped shape her look. I also took cues of gait and posture from these magnificent ladies”.
