As we got our hands on the exclusive preview of Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 1 a few days before its a worldwide release, we must tell you why it might go down to become the most-watched season as well as the most successful out of all the seasons which we have seen till now.
Cast: Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono, Brett Gelman.
As we saw the Season 4 (Volume 1) of Stranger Things, we were left amazed at how a little change in the background of the characters whether it be the California city and the spring break or the Creel house Mavericks can bring about an impactful watching experience making it fresh and even edgier.
The stylish 80's series is back with an added sinister hype and is all set to send the fans of the franchise into a frenzy. It's more horrifying, more mature, bloodier, and scarier than the previous seasons and definitely more thrilling. Not to forget, the emotional teen journey of Eleven and the gang added to the storytelling as they are grown up and have much more to offer as characters which really works for the audience because who doesn't like variations.

The series is set in the Eighties in Hawkins, where citizens navigate supernatural phenomena from a strange dimension known as the Upside Down. While every episode has a runtime of more than an hour, the direction is such that the storytelling keeps us rooting for our personal favorites while we keep an eye open for the main villain 'Vecna' who is so powerful and scary that you won't prefer watching it alone.
The creator of the series, the Duffer brothers has been quoted saying, “With nine scripts, over eight-hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet,” and rightly so! With the return of Hopper (he ain't dead), the whole narrative also keeps drifting from the teens to what lies ahead for Joyce, Hopper, and the other prominent characters.
DUFFER BROTHERS ON WHAT TO EXPECT IN STRANGER THINGS 4
What We Loved :
Eleven and Joyce played by Millie Bobby Brown and Maya Hawke respectively have shown how! The two actors have taken it to the T with their acts putting their strengths and vulnerabilities in the right places thus hitting the right chord.
The VFX is pure outta the world. The Upside Down as we all know is created using special effects and despite our knowledge of the same, the efficiency of the VFX is such that we will forget that it's created and will take it for real.
The growth of the characters with their age, emotions, and depth works really well with the story going forward as we had already seen their pre-teens and kid-vibes in the first 3 seasons so this change is refreshing and adds a lot to the whole watching experience.
The supervillain Vecna and its viciousness are what keep the whole series going. A strong villain is sometimes what makes the whole story worth telling and all the why's and what if's make super sense if you get to understand the context of Vecna's bloodthirst.
What We Missed:
To be honest, it's a tad bit long but nothing seems added or pushed without a reason. Also, the wholesome experience of watching it at a go might be a task for binge-watching.
conclusion:
We can't wait for Volume 2 of Stranger Things Season 4 and we simply want Team Eleven to go for the kill as the story progresses. You can watch the series on Netflix as it premieres on 27th May 2022 and Vol.2 on July 1st, 2022.
