Yash starrer KGF 2 has completed 25 days at the box office with a bang as it remained unaffected with new release - Doctor Strange 2. The action drama opened to an excellent response and the collections just got better as the word of mouth review is solid as per Book My Show. The action drama held well on the weekdays, bringing the first extended week total to Rs 268.63 crore. On 2nd Friday, it faced Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur but remained unaffected, minting Rs 80.18 crore in the second week.
KGF 2 faced two big EID releases - Heropanti 2 and Runway 34, but Yash starrer continued to climb up the ladder with a stellar support, earning Rs 49.41 crore in the second. Despite facing a big Hollywood release, Doctor Strange 2, the action drama held well with 3.85 crore. It grew on Saturday with Rs 5.25 crore followed by Rs 6.25 crore on Sunday. The action drama dropped on 4th Monday with Rs 2.5 crore

In the overseas market, KGF Chapter 2 defeated 83 and Sooryavanshi to become the highest grossing overseas film. The sequel collected a massive $9 million after 27 days where as 83 minted $8.5 million and Sooryavanshi collected $ 8.35 million in the post-pandemic market.
The budget of Yash starrer is Rs 100 crore and also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Achyuth Kumar and several other actors form the supporting cast.
