Though the John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet starrer Attack earned good reviews users as per Book My Show, and IMDB, the action flick turned out to be disappointing as the film was expected to take a good start and sustain good legs at the box office. Attack could collect only Rs 16.13 crore by the end of its theater run against a budget of Rs 65 crore.

The action drama opened to an excellent response and the collections just got better as the word of mouth review is solid as per Book My Show. The action drama held well on the weekdays, bringing the first extended week total to Rs 268.63 crore. On 2nd Friday, it faced Jersey starring Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Pankaj Kapur but remained unaffected, minting Rs 80.18 crore in the second week.

Despite facing a big Hollywood release, Doctor Strange 2, the action drama held well with 3.85 crore. It grew on Saturday with Rs 5.25 crore. As per early trade report, the smash hit sequel went up further on 4th Sunday with a stunning Rs 7.25 crore, bringing a sensational 25 days total to around Rs 415 crore and still running.

The Ajay Devgn starrer Runaway 34 and Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 performed below expectations in first week despite being EID festival releases.
The Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2 performed below expectations in its first week at the box office, minting just Rs 24 crore at the budget of Rs 100 crore. On other hand, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet starrer Runway 34 fared slightly better than its competitor in terms of review and box office collection. The flight drama had collected around Rs 29 crore (did slight well in the second weekend) but still turned out to be a big loss as it is made at a budget of Rs 65 crore.
