The Ajay Devgn starrer Runaway 34 and Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 performed below expectations in first week since their release.

The Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria starrer Heropanti 2 performed below expectations in its first week at the box office. It received poor reviews from the critics and the audiences as per Book My Show website but took better opening than Ajay Devgn starrer Runway with Rs 6.50 crore on its first day. It slipped on Saturday with Rs 5.5 crore while Sunday was bad with Rs 4 crore, bringing the first weekend total to just Rs 15 crore. The film crashed on Monday with Rs 1 crore but due to EID festival went up on Tuesday with Rs 2.75 crore. It held well on Wednesday with Rs 2.5 crore.
There was a good hold on Thursday with action drama minting to around Rs 2-2.15 crore, bringing the first week total figure to Rs 23-23.50 crore. The budget of action flick is Rs 100 crore which is a troubling sign for Tiger Shroff starrer.

Runway 34 got good reviews but got hit by the clash and the ongoing wave of KGF 2 as the Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet starrer minted Rs 3 crore on its first day. However, there was a big jump on Saturday with Rs 4.75 crore followed by another good growth on Sunday with Rs 5.5 crore, summing up the first weekend collection to Rs 14.25 crore.
The good news is that flight drama held on to its ground on first Monday with Rs 2.35 crore. Ajay Devgn starrer Runway 34 grew by 50% on first Tuesday on the occasion of EID with Rs 3.50 crore followed by good hold on first Wednesday with Rs 2 crore.
As per early estimates, Runway 34 dropped to Rs 1.65-1.80 crore, bringing the 7 days total to Rs 22.35-22.50 crore. The budget of the film is Rs 65 crore. Runway 34 is produced and directed by Ajay Devgn, also stars Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh in key roles.
