The Kashmir Files 4th Week Box Office – Crosses 250 Crore Milestone

Believe it or not, audience were dying to see the hit jodi of Govinda and David Dhawan who have given innumerable hits like Coolie No.1, Raja Babu, Hero No. 1 etc together. This along with adequate support from Kader Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Tabu made the films memorable with hilarious comic scenes and full entertainment. Saajan Chale Sasural was yet another “Super-Hit” film which had high dose of comedy, hit music and masala entertainment which was loved by the audience. Saajan Chale Sasural went on to collect Rs 13.82 crore against the budget of Rs 4.25 crore at the box office.

Brilliantly directed and equally brilliantly performed by Ajay Devgn, Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi, Manisha Koirala and Antara Maali, Company was out-an-out gangster movie which became a sensation overnight and is still remembered for the background score and “Khallas” song, composed by Sandeep Chowta. Company went on to collect Rs 13.82 crore against a budget of Rs 9.5 crore.

Nobody would have expected Commando to turn out to be a money-spinner at the box office. The fight sequence and stunts, especially performed by Vidyut Jammwal himself, helped the film to get good footfalls along with the entertainment factor. 

Commando turned out to be a success story for its maker, minting Rs 19.89 crore against a budget of Rs 17 crore.
