From the visual story teller, SS Rajamouli, who made films like Magadheera, Eega (Makhi in Hindi), Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the expectations from his fans and audience alike soared high when they saw the motion poster, first trailer of Ram Charan And Jr. NTR starrer RRR was supposed to release on 31st July, 2020 but the makers pushed it due to the unwanted pandemic situation. RRR collected Rs 53.2 crore in the Telugu version, Rs 7.5 crore in Tamil, Rs 2.5 crore in Malayalam and Rs 2 crore in Kannada, bringing the second total to Rs 90 crore (rough trade estimates), and overall total to Rs 310 crore. The budget of RRR is estimated to be around Rs 600 crore. 

RRR has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The pre-independence drama is  produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment and is based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem
