Most of the films falls on second Friday but The Kashmir Files was exceptional despite the release of Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchhan Paandey as the collection grew with eye-popping Rs 10 crore while Tuesday was even better with Rs 24.80 crore. As per trade report, the political drama was phenomenal on 2nd Sunday with somewhere between Rs 28.25-28.50 crore, bringing a jaw-dropping 10 total to around Rs 170 crore from 4000 screens. The political drama has been made on an overall budget of Rs 14 crore which was crossed in the first weekend itself.
