The reviews of Malang has been good and with interesting star cast comprising of Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Kunal Khemu and Anil Kapoor, Malang took a fair opening in the morning shows with around 20%. Earnings picked up in the evening and night shows, the crime drama collected Rs 6.71 crore on its first day.

With interesting star cast, Malang is performing better than expected as it completed the first week with Rs 39.65 crore. Though it dropped to Rs 2.25 crores on second Friday, there was a slight jump with Rs 2.52 crores on second Saturday followed by Rs 3.25 crores on second Sunday and Rs 1.53 crores on second Monday. As per early estimates, the earnings were star on second Tuesday with Rs 1.30 crore, bringing the 12 days total collection to Rs 50.50 crore.

At the end of its theater run, Malang collected a solid Rs 59.84 crore against a budget of Rs 50 crore.
