The action drama opened to a solid response, bringing the first week collections to Rs 46.41 crore. Bangarraju held well on its second week with Rs 16.11 crore. Bangarraju dropped on 3rd Friday with Rs 1.35 crore but grew slighty over 3rd Saturday and 3rd Sunday with Rs 1.38 crore and Rs 1.55 crore. There was a good hold on 3rd Monday with Rs 1.04 crore followed by Rs 1.09 crore on 3rd Tuesday.
