Harry could skip Prince Philip’s memorial due to lack of security
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could skip Prince Philip’s next memorial if their safety fight is not resolved, Page Six says.
They were expected to attend the spring 2022 service for his late grandfather, who died last April at the age of 99, and finally introduce their 7-month-old daughter, Lilibet, to the Royal family.
Harry wants to bring Lilibet and her 2-year-old son Archie visiting from the US, but they are ‘unable to return home’ as it is too dangerous, a legal representative has said.
It comes after he was chased by a group of photographers at an event for children’s charity WellChild in London Last Summer
Harry, 37, and Markle, 40, have their own security in the US, but sources have pointed out their privately paid team has no authority in the UK.
A royal source said: “If Harry leaves he will want security for himself and his family. If and when he decides to return to the UK, he needs security.
