The series tells the story of a group of desperate people who sign up to play mysterious children’s games in the hope of winning a hefty cash prize. They risk their lives for KRW 45.6 billion prize money. Squid Game stars Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, O Yeong-su, Wi Ha-joon, Jung Ho-yeon, Heo Sung-tae, Anupam Tripathi and Kim Joo-ryoung.
Hellbound is another Korean drama that got many viewers. The story is about hell angels beings who appear out of nowhere to issue a decree and condemn individuals to hell. The supernatural event causes disorder, which allows a religious group named The New Truth to grow in influence. Vincenzo, a dark comedy series was enough to attract viewers. Apart from Joong-ki’s charm, fans loved the plot and his crackling chemistry with co-star Jeon Yeo-bin. Vincezo revolved around an Italian Mafia by the same name who returns to his motherland, South Korea, after years. Here he gets involved with lawyer Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-Bin) and the two gradually fall in love. Vincezo is also seen achieving social justice in his own unique way.

My Name a crime thriller drama had caught the world’s attention. A story revolved around a young woman who abandons everything to join the underworld so that she can avenge her father’s death, who was murdered right in front of her eyes. My Name stars Han So-hee, Park Hee-soon and Ahn Bo-hyun.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha series was the remake of the South Korean film Mr Hong (2004). The story revolves around Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min-ah), a dentist, and Hong Du-sik (Kim Seon-ho). Hye-jin is a dentist, who lost her job. Later, she decides to set up a clinic in a seaside village of Gongjin, where she meets Du-sik, who is a jack-of-all-trades.

However, after a few years, the twin daughter Dami returns to the palace and she is persuaded by her mother to take her brother’s place after he is killed. Living as a prince, Dami distances herself from everyone but begins to develop feelings for Jung Ji-woon, who she befriends in childhood.
