Tadap faced competition from Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor starrer Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui but still managed to collect Rs 1.03 crore on second Friday. There was a slight growth on second Saturday with Rs 1.30 crore while Sunday good with Rs 1.64 crore. The action drama dropped heavily on its second Monday with Rs 60 lakhs but was able to cross the 25 crore milestone. As per early estimates, the romantic drama showed slight growth on second Tueday with Rs 65-67-75 lakhs, bringing the overall total to Rs 26.10-26.20 crore at the box office. The budget of romance-drama is Rs 30 Crores (Production cost: 20 Crores Advertising Cost : 10 Crores)
