Directed by Milan Luthria, who has made films like Kacche Dhaage, Taxi No. 9211, Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai and The Dirty Picture, Tadap catered to the young audience who gave thumbs up the romance drama which opened in the range of 25% that is better than the opening of Antim and Satyameva Jayate 2. The word of mouth was good so the collection picked up in the evening and night shows to post a good revenue of Rs 4.05 crore. There was a minimal growth on Saturday with Rs 4.12 crore on Saturday while Sunday was good with Rs 5.35 crore and Monday was nice with Rs 2.25 crore.
