Salman Khan while promoting Antim: The Final Truth hails Mahesh Manjarekar for his working process and his fight against cancer.
Salman Khan is all set for his upcoming movie, Antim: The Final Truth releasing in theaters this Friday, 26th November. Apart from Salman, Aayush Sharma will also be seen in the pivotal role in the movie alongside romancing Mahima Makwana while Mahesh Manjarekar directs it and return to Bollywood directorial after years.
During promotional events and interviews Salman never missed any chance to praise efforts made by Mahesh Manjarekar during the whole shoot of ‘Antim,’ as he was diagnosed with cancer before the shootings start but he didn’t let the news come out even to the actors working with him.
Manjarekar completed 90% of the shootings and then went under some complications eventually he told Salman and others that he had cancer over the time and Salman made him recover first. After fully recovered Mahesh Manjarekar again started his schedules for the shooting and post production and today he is promoting his film along side Salman, Aayush and Mahima.
In an exclusive interview with PopDiaries, Salman mentioned this story and efforts by Manjrekar in the film. He said, “He is a fighter, he fought it, he didn’t give a damn, Mahesh was like ye meri body hai, nikal ja meri body se (this is my body get out of it). Literally like that he treated his cancer, he was shooting during cancer.”
In another question where he asked if Manjrekar stripped off his stardom for the needed character, Salman said, “Only to make it because you could not play this character like Dabangg. This is different film, different plot, this character is like very intense and has lot of mobility to it, he is very bound, he is very hidustani, he not shouting or yelling, he is just very focused in what he wants to do and at the right time.”
Talking about Antim: The Final Truth, it is said to be a remake of Mulshi Pattern. Antim is releasing on 26th November 2021.
