The shooting for Bob Biswas started in 2019 in Kolkata and was wrapped up by 2020 itself. Though Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi has revived the box office with its stunning collection , the makers of Bob Biswas have decided to go for digital release. As per the latest news, Bob Biswas will premier on Zee5 OTT platform, though the release date is yet to be announced.

According to the Boxofficeindia.com, Kahaani was released on 9th March, 2012 at 1100 screens to Rs 2.91 crores. The film collected Rs 13.36 crores in its first weekend and went onto collect Rs 23.79 crores in its first week. Kahaani ended its theatrical run with Rs 57.81 crores against a budget of Rs 20 crores and turned out to be surprise “Hit” of the year at the box office.
