Disney+ will be launching its services in South Korea from November 12th onwards it announced in an event on October 14th.

Disney is moving to South Korea with an aim of putting some of the K-Netflix-like hits such as Vincenzo, Crashlanding On You, and most recently Squid Game in its bag. There's no second thought about the rising popularity of K-Dramas and films across the globe.

While announcing the news Disney + revealed five shows that will be gracing its lineup for late 2021 and early 2022. The five K-drams to be aired on Disney+ include Snowdrop, Rookies, Sixth Sense Kiss, Moving, and Grid. This lineup is a part of Disney’s plan to create over 50 Asia Pacific original content by 2023. Check out the details of the shows and clear your schedule accordingly.

1) Snowdrop:

Snowdrop is certainly one of the most anticipated K-dramas of 2021 starring Jung Hae-in and Blackpink's Jisoo. The drama is an intense romance drama with a touch of black comedy. It's set against the backdrop of one of the most controversial happening of South Korea back in 1987 which put the show through some controversies. But, that's in the past and now the show is all set to release in December 2021.

K-pop sensation Kang Daniel is all set to make his acting debut with this drama. He will be romancing actress Chae Soo-bin in the drama set against the backdrop of a police university. Talking about his acting debut Pang Daniel said, This is my first attempt at acting. It feels cool because it’s my first time seeing the final product put together in the form of a trailer, and it seems to have captured the essence of youth that I expected, so it makes me want to watch the show soon.” 'Rookies' I expected to release in the first half of 2021.

3) Sixth Sense Kiss:

South Korean and K-drama fans love fantasy dramas and 'Sixth Sense Kiss' is exactly one of them. The drama revolves around a girl who can see the future when she kisses someone. One day she accidentally kisses the neck of her boss and sees them in bed together in the future.

4) Moving:

Adapted from Kang Full's we to on of the same name the drama portrays the story of three teenagers with superpowers that they inherited from their parents. In order to avoid being taken advantage of these three teenagers will try their level best to hide their special abilities. The drama stars Jo In-sung and Han Hyo-joo in lead roles.

Starring Seo Kang-Joon and Kim Ah-Joong in lead roles the drama is penned down by acclaimed writer Lee Soo-Yeon who won various awards for 'Stranger' and 'Stranger 2'. The plot of the drama revolves around the chase between humans and ghosts.
