The Punjabi Film Chal Mera Putt 3 showed a solid hold on Tuesday.
Punjabi films have been doing good this year at the box office worldwide which clearly shows that there is a potential market. After stupendous success of Puaada, Qismat 2, Chal Mera Putt 2, Amrinder Gill, Simi Chahal, and Garry Sandhu in lead roles. had opened very well in East Punjab with Rs 1.40 crore beating the previous record held by Qismat 2. This will probably the only time in Punjab film industry when both parts of the film are running at the theaters as Chal Mera Putt 2 continues to mint money at the box office.
The sequel, Chal Mera Putt 3 continued to stay afloat despite the biggies from Hollywood, No Time To Die, opening on the same day. The comedy drama collected a solid Rs 1.75 crore on the second day with Rs 1.90 crore on the third day. There was a drop on Monday with Rs 70 lakhs but the film did well on Tuesday with Rs 49 lakhs.
As per early estimates, Chal Mera Putt 3 held well on Wednesday with somewhere between Rs 40-45 lakhs, bringing the first six days collections to around Rs 6.61 crore. The comedy drama directed by Janjot Singh and produced by Karaj Gill, and Ashu Munish Sahni
