Punjab Kings couldn't deliver it once again despite likes of sizzling innings by Mayank Agrawal and KL Rahul.

Punjab Kings was really fired up today as their hold was clearly seen on the match despite start and end; as Rajasthan Royals showed their best in both the phases and everything happened in middle goes in vein.

Punjab bowlers bowled out Rajasthan with Arshdeep Singh taking 5 wickets and Shami taking 3. Though Rajasthan Royals succeed to put enough total on scoreboard as they got restricted on 185 runs.

Rajasthan started the game in attacking mode as 'once again new opening pair' Even Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 54 runs for first wicket. Individually Lewis scored 36 & Jaiswal unfortunately got caught on 49 runs.

Royals' middle order was quite charged up as well as their newly added batsmen Lomror scored 43 runs in just 17 balls with short contribution by Livingston. Though after getting some big hitters on the opposite side Punjab Kings came back quickly and landed all other batsmen in just 23 runs and that made huge difference.

In the second inning Punjab proved that their opening pair is also one of the most attacking pair in Vivo IPL as KL Rahul leading from the front scored 49 in 33 balls but Chetan Sakaria managed to caught him by Kartik Tyagi. On the other hand Mayank Agrawal played a winning knock as he scored 67 off 43 balls.

Work was not done yet as Rahul and Agrawal got their wickets in quick succession. But Punjab continued the momentum, Markram and Pooran celebrated 50+ runs partnership to close the victory but couldn't finish it off as Kartik Tyagi surprised fans by his extraordinary last over tactics where he took 2 wickets and defended 4 runs.
