Punjab Kings will square off against Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd match of Vivo IPL 2021, here's the Preview & Predictions.

KL Rahul and his co. who unfortunately lost all their chances to qualify last season despite winning 5 out of 7 matches in the second leg would definitely not looking to make any mistakes this year. While wounded Rajasthan Royals with their young captain Sanju Samson are having quite bad days on and off the field but would like to begin with positive attitude.

The reason behind Royals bad days is quite obvious as their senior leading group will be absent in the second leg of IPL. Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer & Andrew Tye, all have pulled out from UAE IPL. Punjab's condition is not different as Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith and Dawid Malan pulled out of the UAE leg of IPL 2021, with the Kings deciding to bring in Nathan Ellis, Rashid and Aiden Markram as replacements.

Both the teams are struggling in middle order issues as you won't see any reliable batsmen in the batting middle order unit. Though Punjab batting line up has some big names but the performances are below par.

Pitch Report: The bigger outfield on one side, along with the help that bowlers of all disciplines have enjoyed at this venue, could mean that the game isn't loaded in favour of the batsmen. The double-paced nature of the wicket during the CSK-MI clash on Sunday could be a sign of things for the upcoming games in Dubai.

Predicted Playing XI:
Punjab Kings-
KL Rahul (c & wk), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle/Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda, Shahrukh Khan, Adil Rashid, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Nathan Ellis, Mohammed Shami

Rajasthan Royals- Evin Lewis, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (c & wk), Riyan Parag, Shivam Dube, Liam Livingstone, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Chetan Sakariya, Kartik Tyagi, Mustafizur Rahman/Tabraiz Shamsi.
