Cricket fever is on top with upcoming IPL 2021 and ICC T20 Worldcup, stats are high, excitement is boosted and entertainment is unlimited.
Cricket has always been huge entertainment medium for Indians over the years and it's back to entertain once again with remaining phase of IPL 2021 and ICC T20 Worldcup, both happening in UAE in September & October respectively.
Under the strict COVID-19 protocols BCCI hosted Indian Premier League in India earlier this year. But due to sudden Covid breach in some franchises 15th edition of IPL remained incomplete. Though just in few days BCCI announced that IPL will be postpone and will kick off from September 19 at UAE.
Similar scenes happened with awaited and delayed edition of ICC T20 Worldcup. It was supposed to be held in 2020 but Covid Pandemic hit all over the world and it got delayed by a year. India had the hosting rights of this edition but again India went under Covid circumstances and BCCI had to took decision of changing the venue to UAE.
For now there's no as such problem is seen to cancel or postpone these ventures, if it does fans would be disgrace; we hope there won't be any issue.
Talking about IPL, BCCI and UAE governing bodies are planning for having spectators in the ground as well according to the Covid situation there, it would be delighted to see spectators again in the IPL. While possibility to audience in the Worldcup will totally depends on how IPL goes as it will also happen in UAE next to IPL playoffs.

This cricket season doesn't end here as England has already announced their schedule for next year that is after Worldcup, all home and away tours, and they will play ODI and T20 bilateral series with India in August next year.
