The captain cool, champion of 3 ICC trophies MS Dhoni is back in cricket at international level as Indian board of cricket (BCCI) announces their squad for upcoming T20 Worldcup in November.

Team management and selection team has taken huge decisions on their way to another ICC Worldcup. Virat Kohli remain to be the captain of the team with his mate Rohit Sharma as vice-captain while the missing gem of Indian cricket, recently retired MS Dhoni will led the team as a mentor in the most awaited tournament.

BCCI gave some huge shocks on the team selection as the player who was missing out from white ball cricket from almost few years has made comeback, Ravichandran Ashwin it is. While Yuzvendra Chahal who was India’s leading spinner from 2019 ICC ODI Worldcup is NOT the part of this squad. On the other hand Shikhar Dhawan who captained Team India in the absence of Virat and Rohit Sharma on Sri Lanka tour is missing as well.

Many youngsters are included in this squad; recently debuted Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Varun Chakravarthy and Rahul Chahar are in top 15 While Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar are the standby players for the league.

Indian bowling unit on the other hand looks more experienced and settled with the likes of Bumrah, B Kumar, Md. Shami, Jadeja and Ashwin along with Chakravarthy, Chahar and Axar Patel. Despite having a below average form Hardik Pandya is still in the Top 15 of the list while it is clearly seen that India wants to go with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul for the opening pair.

In the tweeter announcement BCCI mentioned that Indian former captain MS Dhoni will be in the mentor position for this tournament happening in UAE. Rest of the information is still unclear whether Ravi Shastri will still be the head coach or not. Soon upcoming days will clear the corrections.
