On the occasion of Muharram holiday and Rakshabandhan, the Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom was able to make up for a decent first week at the box office despite restrictions and less number of shows, bringing Rs 19.40 crore. The action-thriller faced the Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Chehre which was released in 800 screens but opened on a disappointing note.

As per early estimates, there was a big drop in collections on second Friday which is the 9th day for Bell Bottom, minting somewhere between Rs 85-90 lakhs, bringing the overall collections to Rs 20.25-20.30 crore (extended first week as Bell Bottom released on Thursday). The budget of Bell Bottom is around Rs 60 crore (Production Cost - Rs 50 , Promotion - Rs 10 crore)
