Following up to the season 1, the season 2 of Hostel Daze brings back the lovable characters of Ankit (Adarsh Gourav) along with Nikhil Vijay as Jatin a.k.a Jhaatu, Luv as Chirag Bansal, Ahsaas Channa As Akanksha and Shubham Gaur as Rupesh a.k.a Jaat who have now entered second year of college and do what seniors enjoy the most in the hostel - ragging. The season 2, comprising of four episodes, also explores the idea of how to woo a girl followed by a disappointment, love affair which sometimes work, way to binge on porn films, whining over the canteen messy food and finally returning home once the vacation period begins.

Directed by Amir Musanna and Sangram Naiksatam, the season 2 is hilarious right from the first scene of ragging (will remind you of the 3 Idiots ragging scene). If the season 1 was more about clearing the exams, the second season goes deep inside the crazy life of hostel which is different from the outside world. Hats of to the directors and the writers (Saurabh Khanna, Suprith Kundar and Harish Peddinti) for giving us the realistic view of a hostel life with aplomb. While the first 3 episodes were outstanding and will bring down the house with the rib-tickling comedy scenes, the last episode was slightly disappointing as it could not evoke the emotions and feel of how the finale should end (which is always the case with a TVF creation). However, like all the TVF brilliant web series - Permanent Roommates, TVF Picthers, Aspirants, Flames, Kota Factory, TVF's Tripling , Cubicles or Gullak, Hostel Daze Season 2 has solid punching dialogues which will entertain you to the core and tight screenplay that will keep you engaged.

Host Movie Review – Must Watch Horror Flick To Get Over The Lockdown Blues

The four episodes of Hostel Daze Season 2 is also a must watch for the impeccable acting by each and every actor who have done justice to their role. Performances by all the actors is a major boost to watch Hostel Daze 2 which is natural and intrinsic to the core.

If you want to re-visit your hostel life during college days, Hostel Daze 2 is the perfect way to cherish those memories. Outstanding direction with crispy screenplay and electrifying performances by everyone in the film makes Hostel Daze 2 film a must watch. Hilarious  3.5/5

Hostel Daze is produced by TVF and  is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
