Years back when Aayush Sharma started his struggling journey he took up in the Delliwali Girlfriend song of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani as a background dancer behind Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, who is sharing screen space with the superstar in Antim: The Final Truth, has revealed that he was a part of the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Yes, you read that right! The actor, who is receiving a good response for his performance in Antim, shared that he featured in the Dilliwali Girlfriend song of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani .

Aayush shared that he took up this job during his struggling days and performed with Ranbir and Deepika in the popular song.

Speaking about the same at Agenda AajTak, Aayush revealed that he was an aspiring actor when he came to Mumbai for his college. At that time, he used to give auditions for TV shows, ads, as well as for roles as junior artists in Bollywood films.

He added, "I got to know that in Mehboob Studios Yeh Jawaan Hai Deewani shoot was happening. I called my friend and asked to give me some work in the background. I told him that I will get to learn how shooting happens if I work in the background. So, I was roaming in YJHD’s song Dilli Wali Girlfriend”.

During the song, for the first time, Aayush saw how shoots take place and how Ranbir and Deepika perform. It was his first-ever visit to Mehboob Studios.
