Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is an Indian television soap opera that airs on Star Plus and streams on Hotstar. It is the fourth longest running Indian television soap opera which is produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The serial initially starred Hina Khan and Karan Mehra and currently stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan. The audience are in love with the serial and it’s has become the household face now.

The recent promo left the audience shocked as it showed Naira’s death. The fans were unable to accept the unexpected turn in the story and they also demanded the makers to stop the track. Meanwhile the rumours rose that Shivangi Joshi aka Naira is leaving the show.

The promo video was released by the channel. It shows Kartik in white kurta pajama and remembering his love Naira. As he performs last rites, he says, “Sab kuch tumne sikhaya tha, par akele rehna kaun sikhayega.” The video was released on Star Plus’s official Twitter handle.

While speaking to one of the news portal Shivangi Joshi opened up that she is not leaving the show. “I urge fans to keep calm. In the coming 10 days, everyone will get to know. Right now we can’t say much about the upcoming story. I request all fans to keep loving the show as they have been doing,” she added. When she first time heard about Naira’s death sequence, she said, “I was shocked and was not able to control my tears. I did not want to cry but just couldn’t control it.”

The current track is showing Naira has fallen in a pit and the family members have called the rescue team to find her. Naksh and Kartik are worried about Naira and the flashback starts.
