Israel's Secret Attack: Assassinations and Cyberwars Against Iran

Paris, France:  From targeted killings to destruction and cyber operations, Israel has either been accused of or has acknowledged a range of attacks in opposition to Iran.  

Israel's focus has been on Iran's exclusive Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps & Tehran's nuclear program.  

Following a series of airstrikes on Saturday aimed at Iran's military assets, AFP discreetly analyzes the historical attempts over the years. Israel has been linked to attacks on high-ranking members of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, mostly occurring outside Iran.  

The most recent casualty was a general killed on September 27 alongside Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in a strike in Israeli in Beirut's cities.  

An airstrike attributed to Israel on Iran's diplomatic corps annex in Damascus on April 1, 2024, reportedly killed seven members of the Revolutionary Guards, including 2 high-ranking officials, according to Tehran.
