The Hague:
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants today for the Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant. The charges relate to war crimes committed during the current conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon, where Israel is at war with Hamas and Hezbollah, respectively.

The ICC also indicted Hamas's military leader Mohammed Deif, by charging him with war crimes and by ordering his arrest.
In a formal statement, the world court has declared, "The Chamber has issued arrest warrants for two individuals, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr. Yoav Gallant, for crimes against humanity and war crimes committed from date October 8, 2023, through to at least May 20, 2024, the date when the Prosecution submitted the arrest requests."
