Savitri Jindal is the richest woman in India, holding the top spot among the country's wealthiest women. She became the chairperson emeritus of the OP Jindal Group after her husband, O.P. Jindal, passed away in 2005. Remarkably, in 2024, she is the only female billionaire in India's top 10 richest people.

Rekha Jhunjhunwala ($7.8 B)

Rekha Jhunjhunwala has taken over her late husband Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s role. After his passing in 2022, she inherited his stock portfolio and has become one of the wealthiest women in India. Her investments include shares in 29 companies, such as Titan, Tata Motors, and Crisil.

Vinod Gupta ($5.7 B)

Vinod Gupta and her son Anil Rai Gupta manage Havells India, a leading company in the electrical equipment sector. The company was started by Vinod’s late husband, Qimat Rai Gupta. Havells is now active in over 50 countries and has 14 manufacturing plants.
