Bitter-sweet to call it a wrap for Kabir : Hrithik Roshan as War 2 shoot comes to an end

It's officially a wrap for YRF's much awaited actioner War 2. Ayan Mukerji along with choreographer Bosco Martis shot for an extravagant dance number featuring Hrithik Roshan & NTR Jr. as on the day of the spy thriller's shoot concluding. 

Hrithik, along with NTR Jr and Ayan Mukerji celebrated the wrap with the cast & crew by cutting a cake and individually thanking the crew members. Hrithik, also further invited his co-stars NTR Jr along with his family, Kiara Advani, Director Ayan Mukerji, and the YRF team at his house for a private dinner party. 

Sharing his thoughts on the end of War 2's shooting journey, Superstar Hrithik Roshan took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "Feeling a mixed bag of emotions as the cameras stopped rolling for #War2. 149 days of relentless chase, action, dance, blood, sweat, injuries... and it was all WORTH IT!

@tarak9999 sir it has been an honor to work alongside you and create something so special together. @advani_kiara I'm so excited for the world to witness the lethal side of you, you've been spectacular to share screen with. I cannot wait for you all to witness the incredible cinematic vision of Adi & Ayan!! Hrithik penned the heartfelt note as he bid adieu to his much celebrated on-screen character of Major Kabir Dhaliwal from the War franchise. Hrithik Roshan's War, had emerged as the Highest grossing film of 2019 with his on-screen character of Kabir being celebrated by fans & audience, alike. War 2 promises the return of Hrithik's Kabir with a growth arc as seen more menacing, darker and bulkier than the previous instalment of the franchise. 

Directed by Ayan Mukerji and Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr and Kiara Advani in leading roles. The film is all set to release in theatres and Imax screens worldwide on August 14th 2025.
