Valentine’s day will be arriving soon, but due to the pandemic situation, many of you won’t be able to get out of the home to celebrate it. Here are some K-movies we recommend you to watch on the occasion of the eve to make your day cheerful.
1. Mood of the Day
The mood of the Day is starring Moon Chae Won and Yoo Yeon Seok. This movie tells the story of a girl Bae Soo Jung has been with her boyfriend for 10 years, but their romance is turning lukewarm.
Later Soo Jung heard that her friend is getting married to her first love and feels distracted. On a train to Busan, she sits next to Kim Jae Hyun who claims that he is an Agapemonite (a Christian sect where men took multiple spiritual brides) and that he would willingly do one-night-stands. She tries to push him away but ends up sharing a car ride with him due to the train breaking down. She begins to slowly open up to him as he consistently tries to win her heart.
2. Tune in For Love
Tune in For Love is starring Kim Go Eun and Jung Hae In. The story focus on the year 1994. On the first day, DJ Yoo Yeol went on air on the popular radio show Music Album, college girl Mi Soo meets Hyun Woo at the bakery she works at. The show brings them together through thick and thin until reality pulls them apart.
In 1997, during the IMF crisis, the two meet while exchanging stories on a radio program. Although the couple’s paths keep crossing, the timing is never in their favor.
3. Two Weddings and a Funeral
It stares at Kim Dong Yoon, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Jung Ae Yun. This movie tells the story of a gay man, Min Soo, and a lesbian, Hyo who agrees to marry so that Hyo Jin can legally adopt a child with her partner, Seo Yeong and Min Soo can please his parents.
While secretly living with their respective partners, Min Soo and Hyo Jin enjoy all the benefits of being heterosexual. However, Min Soo’s intrusive parents begin to threatening their ruse.
4. Cyrano Agency
This movie stares Park Shin-hye, Uhm Tae-woong, Lee Min-jung, and Choi Daniel Cyrano Agency consists of four people from a theater troupe who offer a unique service to bring people together. They devise intricate plans to get a romance for their client.
Movie stares Lee Min Ki, Hwang Seung Eon, and Son Ye Jin. The story focuses on Ma Jo Goo who is a street magician, meets a miserable girl, Kang Yeo Ri, during one of his performances, and she becomes the inspiration for his Horror Magic Show. Yeo Ri begins working as an extra on the show but has difficulty connecting with anyone else. Jo Goo accidentally gets her drunk in an attempt to help her open up.
She confesses that since surviving a high school car accident, she has seen the ghosts of dead schoolmates and her best friend Lee Joo Hee. Joo Hee follows her everywhere and scared everyone away, even Yeo Ri’s family. When Jo Goo attempts to find her a boyfriend, they start to develop feelings for each other.
