'Spiderman' clings to car's bonnet in Delhi

The car owner and driver have been charged with reckless driving, absence of a pollution certificate, and failure to wear a seat belt, carrying a potential maximum penalty of Rs 26,000 and/or imprisonment, the officer explained.

New Delhi: A 20-year-old man, seated on the bonnet of a Scorpio car dressed as Spiderman, was apprehended by the police and fined Rs 26,000 for reckless driving and other infractions, officials stated on Wednesday. According to police sources, they received a report on the social media platform X about a Scorpio car spotted on Dwarka roads with an individual dressed as Spiderman on its bonnet and promptly took action.

Police tracked down the vehicle and located its occupants near Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka. The person wearing the Spiderman costume was identified as Aditya (20), a resident of Najafgarh. The driver of the car was identified as Gaurav Singh (19), residing in Mahavir Enclave, informed a senior police officer.
