A post on Reddit has caused a big stir after a person shared a receipt from a café in Darwin, Australia. They ordered two rolls and two coffees, but were surprised when the bill came to a whopping 77 Australian Dollars, which is about Rs 4,000.
The customer, named Lee, was shocked to see an extra charge of seven Australian Dollars just because it was a Sunday. This made the bill much higher than expected.
When they looked at the bill, they saw that each roll was priced at $19, and they had to pay an extra $3 for avocado on each roll. The coffees were $10 each, but they had to pay an extra $6 for the ice cream on top.
Despite the high price, Lee said the food was good. But they admitted they didn't check the price properly before paying.
This story has got a lot of people talking online, with many wondering if the café's prices are fair.
For the doubters: yes, I really paid $77 for two egg and bacon rolls and two iced coffees at a Darwin beachside cafe yesterday ð
