IIT graduate with Rs 1869 crore salary!!

Pichai Sundararanjan (born June 10,1972), better known as Sundar Pichai is an American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Google. Pichai was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, to a Tamil-speaking family. He completed his schooling in Jawahar Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in Ashok Nagar Chennai and completed the class XII from Vana Vani school at IIT Madras. He earned his dregree from from IIT Kharagpur in Metallurgical engeneering and is a distingushed alumnus from that institution. He holds an M.S. from Stanford university in matrials science and engeneering and and MBA from the Wharton School of the university of Pennsylvania, where he was named as Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar respectively.

Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a suite of Google's client software products including Google Chrome. Pichai was selected to be the next CEO of Google on August 10 2015.

Sundar Pichai's salary package in 2022 was a whooping 226 million dollars. This translates into Rs 1869 crores. In 2019, he received an award of 281 million dollars.

He is married to Anjali Pichai. She is a native of Kota. She did her engeneering from IIT Kharagpur. She is a chemical engineer. Before Pichai became the CEO  many comapnies wanted to poach him. His wife, however asked him to not quit Google.
