A post titled “My girlfriend threw away all of my idol merchandise” has gone viral, stirring strong reactions from netizens.
The boyfriend, devastated by the loss of his treasured items, shared his story, explaining how his girlfriend discarded his collection due to her obsessive-compulsive disorder. The items included signed merchandise, ticket stubs, photocards, and a cherished BLACKPINK poster. Despite her attempts to reconcile, the boyfriend remains heartbroken and unable to understand her actions.
The post says:
“My girlfriend threw away all of my treasured idol merchandise yesterday afternoon while I was napping, including signed merchandise, ticket stubs, photocards, and lightsticks. Among the items is my most cherished poster from BLACKPINK’s 2019 fanmeeting in Taiwan, signed by every member…
When I woke up in the evening, I discovered that the display case I had poured my heart into decorating was completely empty. I asked her, “How come my things are missing?” She said her obsessive-compulsive disorder kicked in and couldn’t stand seeing the mess of stuff that was there, so she threw them away.
I completely lost it and started crying after hearing her explanation. I don’t understand why she was able to treat the disrespect and pain I felt as if they were nothing. I kicked her out of our rented house that day.”
He also revealed what happened the following day.
“She returned and rang the doorbell this morning, saying she left some stuff behind. After I opened the door, she ran in and hugged me, telling me that we shouldn’t fight again in the future, as if nothing happened…
I just want her to understand how important those cherished items were to me, instead of treating the problem like a simple “let’s make up” matter.
She’s lying on the couch and playing on her phone right now as if nothing happened. But I have mixed feelings. I am so disappointed in and can’t understand her actions.”
Netizens overwhelmingly sided with him, expressing sympathy and outrage.

“She’s not a girlfriend but a perpetrator. Are you allowed to throw away other people’s stuff just because you can’t stand them? What a joke.”
-
“Break up and sue. She has no basic respect, considering she randomly threw other people’s stuff like that. Where did such a brat with no manners come from? Have you thought about why she didn’t throw away other stuff? It’s because she did it to piss you off on purpose. She wanted to test your limit. F*ck, this is so disgusting, I’m going to vomit.”

“As someone who’s stanned idols before, I’ve had an album display case custom-made and decorated. So I can imagine the mental breakdown you’re having after your cherished items got thrown away. There were even priceless signed goods! If it were me, I’d have gone absolutely crazy. Also, she’s the one with obsessive-compulsive disorder, but why did she throw your things away?”
-
“? Why did you let her in? Please kick her out.”
-
“Throw away her purses and make-up products, then tell her your obsessive-compulsive disorder kicked in. See how she feels.”
