Boyfriend’s Viral Post Sparks Debate After Girlfriend Trashes His Idol Merchandise

A post titled “My girlfriend threw away all of my idol merchandise” has gone viral, stirring strong reactions from netizens. 

The boyfriend, devastated by the loss of his treasured items, shared his story, explaining how his girlfriend discarded his collection due to her obsessive-compulsive disorder. The items included signed merchandise, ticket stubs, photocards, and a cherished BLACKPINK poster. Despite her attempts to reconcile, the boyfriend remains heartbroken and unable to understand her actions. 

The post says: 

“My girlfriend threw away all of my treasured idol merchandise yesterday afternoon while I was napping, including signed merchandise, ticket stubs, photocards, and lightsticks. Among the items is my most cherished poster from BLACKPINK’s 2019 fanmeeting in Taiwan, signed by every member…

When I woke up in the evening, I discovered that the display case I had poured my heart into decorating was completely empty. I asked her, “How come my things are missing?” She said her obsessive-compulsive disorder kicked in and couldn’t stand seeing the mess of stuff that was there, so she threw them away.

I completely lost it and started crying after hearing her explanation. I don’t understand why she was able to treat the disrespect and pain I felt as if they were nothing. I kicked her out of our rented house that day.”

He also revealed what happened the following day.



“She returned and rang the doorbell this morning, saying she left some stuff behind. After I opened the door, she ran in and hugged me, telling me that we shouldn’t fight again in the future, as if nothing happened…

I just want her to understand how important those cherished items were to me, instead of treating the problem like a simple “let’s make up” matter.

She’s lying on the couch and playing on her phone right now as if nothing happened. But I have mixed feelings. I am so disappointed in and can’t understand her actions.”
