Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations may have concluded, but new details about the grand event continue to emerge. Recently, it was disclosed that Anant and Radhika enlisted Jawan director Atlee to create a special 10-minute animated film for the occasion. This film was presented during the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony as part of the wedding festivities. Additionally, it was revealed that Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice for the film.
The information came to light through well-known YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. On his popular channel, Beer Biceps, Ranveer shared some behind-the-scenes details about the three-day wedding celebration. In an interview with American comedian-actor Akaash Singh on Singh’s podcast, Ranveer disclosed, “On the second day of the wedding, they premiered a 10-minute animated film exclusively for the wedding guests. The film was directed by Atlee and featured a voiceover by Amitabh Bachchan. It was a unique mini-movie created specifically for the wedding as part of one of the special events.” Ranveer also talked about the baraat, saying, “They set up an elaborate path with various stations along the way, and each station featured a different music superstar.”
He continued, “I’m still amazed by the idea of these stations. At a typical wedding, you would just walk with the procession to the venue, but here, the baraat stopped at each station for mini-concerts, where the artists performed and everyone in the procession enjoyed the experience.”
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12 in Mumbai in a lavish ceremony that was attended by Bollywood celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, as well as international stars like John Cena and Kim Kardashian.
On the final day of the wedding celebrations, Anant Ambani expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the festivities a success. He thanked the Mumbai Police and the media for their support throughout the wedding events.
