Viral Video: Pregnant Woman Allegedly Cleans Bed of Deceased Husband at Hospital

A disturbing video has gone viral, showing a pregnant woman, identified as Roshni, allegedly cleaning the hospital bed of her husband, Shivraj, who had just died from gunshot injuries. The incident took place at the Gadasarai Health Centre in Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district, following a violent land dispute that resulted in the deaths of Roshni’s husband and two other family members.

The conflict began on Thursday in Lalpur village, a tribal-dominated area of Dindori district, where four men—a father and his three sons—were shot in a dispute over land ownership. While the father and one son died immediately, Shivraj and his brother Ramraj were taken to the Gadasarai Health Centre for treatment. Shivraj later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The viral video captures Roshni, who is five months pregnant, holding a blood-stained cloth in one hand while cleaning the bed with tissues in the other. Dr. Chandrashekhar Tekam, a doctor at the health center, stated that the hospital staff did not ask Roshni to clean the bed. According to Dr. Tekam, Roshni requested permission to clean the blood herself, wanting it as potential evidence of the severity of her husband’s injuries. He added that no complaint has been filed by Roshni or her family regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, the Gadasarai police have registered a case against seven individuals allegedly involved in the shooting and have detained some suspects. Charges include murder, and further investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the land dispute that led to the tragic events.
