Of late Vanraj Shah of Rajan Shahi’s “Anupamaa” has been feeling differently. While the signs were quite visible since he left to live in Kavya’s home, he has finally realised that it’s nothing but love. So on the day of Makar Sankranti when the Shah family lit the sky lanters, Vanraj is seen confessing his love for Anupamaa, and to his surprise Anupamaa accepts his proposal. But Vanraj had just imagined all that, and has now gathered the courage to finally confess his love for Anupamaa.
The next day Anupamaa is leaving for school, but Baa stops her as their washing machine has stopped working. She tells her that they will get it fixed and leaves. But on her return Anupamaa finds Rakhi waiting for her at the main gate and that too with a new washing machine. Kinjal sees her mom and asks her to come inside. While Anupamaa is having a conversation in her mind that she won’t accept any sort of favours from Rakhi because she will then try to demean them forever, to everyone’s surprise Kinjal supports her mom Rakhi in this matter.
This is the beauty of “Anupamaa”. There are so many small things that happen in our day-to-day life but are often ignored, and the show touches all these minor issues making it more relatable to the audience.
In the upcoming episode, we will see that Vanraj takes a stand for Anupamaa and tells Rakhi that he won’t tolerate another word of insult for his wife. He also tells her that he can buy washing machines for his wife without anyone’s help. Well, Rakhi being Rakhi sees Kavya outside and taunts Vanraj that if he is sure that he will buy a new washing machine for his wife. When Vanraj confronts her and says he will always stand by his wife, he finds Kavya staring at him in surprise.
